Father M. Owen Lee is Professor of Classics at St. Michael's College, University of Toronto. He is widely known for his appearances, both as commentator and quiz panelist, on the intermissions of the Metropolitan Opera broadcasts from New York, sponsored by Texaco. He has published books on Virgil's Eclogues and Wagner'sRing.
