She began to seek practical solutions to help her dad. Eager to work with aging adults and share her approaches, Susan developed activities and programs for her father and the other residents at Copper Ridge, an assisted-living facility in Sykesville, Maryland, for patients with all types of memory impairments. She is a volunteer support group facilitator for the Alzheimer's Association, Florida Gulf Coast Chapter.
