Recensione:
When I started to read this book, I couldn't stop... Book is explaining useful methodology how to come up to new ideas and what to do next. GSP will not give you the magic stick to become creative, but using this methods can help everyone on the path to become more innovative. I particularly liked the part of the book devoted to daydreaming, this concept is described with examples and nicely explained. --Tomislav Buljubasic, Amazon book review
The next millennium will belong to the creative thinkers in our world. To enhance our business and personal lives we need to discover new and innovative methods to make them better. Chris Griffiths, in GRASP The Solution, shows us how to creatively innovate the five types of thinking in a logically structured method by reducing the process to four steps which help us achieve maximum results. The most remarkable part of GRASP The Solution is the discovery of how to tap into the personal genius which resides in each of us. GRASP The Solution teaches us, in a very subtle manner, how to activate that genius in our own creative thinking and discover brilliant solutions to overcome the challenges we face. Have a challenge? GRASP The Solution! Tom Kavanaugh, MA --Tom Kavanaugh, Amazon book review
Very persuasive and easy-to-follow manual on how to think better and think smarter to achieve innovative but also good common sense solutions and strategies in business and the workplace. Its springboard is Edward de Bono's premise that thinking is a skill and can be developed and improved if you know how. Chris is passionate about proactive thinking and as CEO of a forward thinking organisation that has developed and extended Tony Buzan's Mind Mapping and other brain boosting techniques to work brilliantly on-screen, he is well placed to show you how to create the most productive mindset for problem solving and idea generation. What particularly impressed me was the breadth and depth of the scientific research and footnotes (many contemporary and online) to back up the discourse and I also found the quotes from innovative thinkers (including Mr Spock and Kenny Loggins) entertaining and apt for the text in question. Mind Maps form a creative bedrock for the selected ideas, strategies, techniques and tips that Chris focuses on (culled from his impressive business and professional experience) and they are used to good effect to illustrate and review the text and chapter overviews. If anything I would have liked to have seen them used larger! This book isn't academic: it is practical and outcome-driven and so a desktop must for all office managers, company directors and small business owners. Actually anyone who is looking to think more creatively and effectively will get something out of it. It may look dense at 290pp but you'll be amazed at how quickly you can read through it and grasp it! --James Harrison, Amazon book review
