Riassunto: Have you ever wondered if the things you have done in your life are really forgiven by God? Is it automatic? Does God weigh the size of the sin, or how many, or if they are repeated sins? Do you see yourself as a sinner, or as a good person in general? What does God think about those that have committed what society considers as really serious sins, or crimes? Are those forgiven? Can those individuals still go to Heaven? Is there a limit as to how many sins we can commit before we are in a sense, cut off? Is God really present in our everyday lives? Does He care how we act here on earth?
Dion Welton gives substance to the idea of forgiveness and although doesn t claim to be the authority on giving it he simply challenges us to look closer at one of Gods most treasured abilities, one of His most basic requirements for those living the Christian life. The ability to forgive. If ever you have wondered about the topic, if you are an individual who has found your self lost because you feel to much has gone wrong. Take heart! There is hope! Are We Really Forgiven examines that hope and charts a course back home to God s open arms.

L'autore: Dion Welton is the founder of Hope is Now ministries and a graduate of St. Thomas University in Miami Florida where he attended on a basketball scholarship. Following his collegiate career Dion played for three seasons professionally in Europe.Following his basketball career Dion worked nearly 15 years in marketing research and consulting. He is quickly becoming a popular speaker, writer and motivator in and outside the Christian community nationwide.
His God given ability to inspire people from all walks off life has made him a sought after presenter at numerous events. His talks and writings focus on the wonderful amazing grace and mercy God has for each and every one of us if we simply, genuinely, with repentant hearts, accept it. Dion grew up in central Indiana where his parents, married 51 years still reside and provided a loving caring, disciplined home. However, bright lights, lots of attention through basketball, money and all the worlds trappings over the years took a serious toll on Dion s life. Self centered, self absorbed, arrogant and full of excuses, Dion s life reached an incredible low.
Faced with some of the most difficult, depressing, challenging circumstances imaginable. Dion reached out to the one constant, always the same, never changing source he had neglected for years, Jesus Christ. In what seemed at first to be a desperate reach for a quick fix, a way out, something that would get him sympathy, over time turned into an incredible transformation. This transformation convinced Dion that there truly is a God, a loving, caring but also just God. Dion is the author of the soon to be released book, Overcoming the Struggle He resides in Chicago, is a single father with an amazing 15 year old daughter. Still broken, far from perfect, but saved...saved by the incredible mercy of Jesus Christ. Dion works daily at sharing his journey with those hurting, wondering if they can be forgiven, redeemed, and changed.
