Riassunto: Goose Rocks Beach is an idylic little family beach community in Kennebunkport, Maine. But it wasn't always so calm. The Legend of Goose Rocks Beach recounts the tale of how Samuel Timber and his family settled on the beach 200 years ago only to find it under the scourge of the evil pirate, Captain Bluebeard.
The Legend of Goose Rocks Beach is the first in the series of Goose Rocks Tales which were written to be read aloud to children of all ages.
L'autore: Matthew Nugent is a professor at Boston University. He has lived his entire life in the Boston area and has enjoyed summers at Goose Rocks Beach on and off since he was 8 months old. He is also the author of The Legend of Timber Island and The Mystery of the Sinking Sand.
Louise Nugent is a retired draftsman, teacher, artist, mother and grandmother. She lives in Massachusetts near her six children and eight grandchildren. She has illustrated the entire Goose Rocks Tales series.
