Rubbing and darkening to cloth (latter especially along backstrip with titles clearly legible); wear to cloth along spine ends and tips of bumped corners (latter with some exposed card). Front free endpaper excised, hinge-tape reinforcements front and rear with light play remaining to front; binding otherwise strong but opens flat at several places within. Pages clean on toned, pulpy stock; 2" tear upper p.209 along gutter. Scuffing and soil to endpapers, strong on front pastedown.
