Head of the Division of Experimental Pathology at the Banting Institute Toronto (1968-82), Dr Movat (1923-95), an emigree from Romania (1950), is noted for his development of Movat's Pentachrome Stain (1955) as well as pioneering experimental work in inflammation & bradykinin. A small staple on the front panel of the jacket suggests that this copy was either complimentary or sent for review.
