Alice in Wonderland was written by Linda Woolverton, directed by Tim Burton, and stars Mia Wasikowska as Alice, Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, Anne Hathaway as the White Queen, and Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen. The film won 2 Oscars for Best Costume Design and Best Art Direction and was nominated for Best Visual Effects. It was also nominated for 3 Golden Globes; Best Motion Picture - Comedy or Musical, Best Actor (Johnny Depp), and Best Original Score.
