Descrizione libro: Chilton Books, Philadelphia and New York, 1965. Hardcover. Condizione libro: A fine copy. First edition / First printing. Winner of the Hugo Award in 1966 and the Nebula Award in 1965, Dune is a high spot of modern science fiction sought by collectors. Surprisingly available in the original cloth (and at one time remaindered by Chilton due to poor sales at their inhouse tent sales), this copy has been stunningly rebound with a custom design by Matt Jones at Green Dragon Bindery. With multicolored dunes and a moon in the night sky, gold gilt lettering 'DUNE' on the spine with Frank Herbert's name at the base, and endpapers that match the spirit of the book, it is an exceptional job all around. All edges gold gilt. A superior gift for the right person. The design has evoked a strong emotional response both in us and others who have read the book. Codice libro della libreria 3150
