Satire ; Beppo racconto Veneziano - Visione di un giudizio a cura Franco Giovanelli - testo originale a fronte
Descrizione libro: Newton Compton, 1993. Brossura. Prima Edizione.

Descrizione libro: Brannan and Morford, Philadelphia, and E. Morford, Willington, and Co., Charleston, 1811. 'First American from the third London edition.' Drab printed boards, refurbished and rebacked. Boards worn and spotted, end-papers foxed and occasional browning elsewhere, but contents generally very good; the bottom edge of the boards have been cut at a curious angle, giving the book a prodigious list to port, but as the pages are for the most part untrimmed this is possibly an original production fault. The first American Byron, published in April 1811. The various copies in COPAC and OCLC are catalogued with a Charleston imprint only, but Peter X. Accardo's detailed study 'Byron in America' (Harvard Library Bulletin, New Series, Vol. 9, No. 2, Summer 1998) gives priority to the Philadelphia issue: Accardo 1a. Codice libro della libreria 7333
