Also SIGNED and inscribed by Paul Newman on a bookplate on front end page. Newman directed 1971 movie version of book as well as played 'Hank Stamper' in the film. Also includes laid-in a handwritten SIGNED note from actor Cliff Potts who played 'Andy Stamper' in film. Also includes laid-in a small photo sheet SIGNED by actress Linda Lawson who played 'Jan Stamper' in film. Slight spine lean, thus near fine in a very good, rubbed and price-clipped dust jacket with modest edge wear. The jacket has rubbed corners, a small tear at the head of the spine on the rear hinges, and bottom front hinge, some small spots of rubbing at base of spine, a faint bit of creasing along bottom edge of spine and front panel, otherwise a very good jacket in mylar cover.
