Riassunto: There were 13 children left without their parents in the middle of the second world war. Lotte, then aged 6 and 12th in the family, tells how she proceeded in life. Being brought up by the older sisters and brothers was at time confusing. There was much work to be done on the farmland which included milking cows. Lotte ventured out in to the world at a young age, started working in hotels and dental nursing, then ended up marrying an Australian husband. They had 3 children and after 17 years they decided to divorce. When Lotte was 12, she found a zither in their loft and started to learn to play this beautiful instrument with a teacher in their village. As payment for each lesson was a can of milk from the farm. Lotte came to Australia and brought her zither and started performing at different venues and one was the Sydney Opera House for the New Years Eve Concerts. Lotte recorded 10 CDs which are available from her website.
