Tyrone Whyte learned karate under former world champion Ticky Donovan. He was a British karate champion in his weight category and a member of the England international karate team which took the Bronze medal in the European championships. Now retired from competitive karate, Tyrone runs a well-established and respected karate club in Stratford, East London.

Lloyd Bradley achieved brown belt level in Tae Kwon Do karate. Formerly, he was Health and Fitness editor at GQ magazine, and consultant editor with Men’s Health magazine’s international department. Lloyd is a regular marathon runner and writes books on fitness, health and running.
