Madeleine Albright is the author of two New York Times bestselleing books, Madam Secretary and The Mighty and the Almighty. She served as the U.S. Secretary of State from 1997 to 2001, and held positions in the National Security Council, as U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, and on Capitol Hill. She is founder of the Albright Group LLC, chairman of the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs, president of the Truman Scholarship Foundation, and the Mortara Endowed Distinguished Professor at the Georgetown School of Foreign Service. She lives in Washington, D.C., and Virginia.
