Daniel Maurer is the nightlife editor for New York Magazine s website and the co-editor of the magazine s MIN Award-winning and National Magazine Award-nominated food blog Grub Street. He has appeared on television (WNBC s Today in New York ) and in a New York Times feature. He was nominated as a New York hottie by Gawker, a blog to which he has also contributed (he coined the term Douché, which won the Gawker T-Shirt Contest). He also writes for Urban Daddy, the website of GQ and Details magazine, and was a bar reporter for the Shecky s Nightlife Guide.
