VINCENT PRICE (1911-1993) was an actor and writer who starred in many films, including the low-budget horror classics House of Wax, House of Usher, Pit and the Pendulum and The Masque of the Red Death. Known for his distinctive, low-pitched, creaky, atmospheric voice, he died the week before Halloween in 1993.
