Peter Noble, M.D., is a psychiatrist and Emeritus Consultant at the Maudsley Hospital and Institute of Psychiatry. He is an avid sailor with thirty years of experience, including multiple Atlantic crossings in his 34-foot sloop Artemis.

Ros Hogbin, a writer and journalist, has been sailing since childhood. She has competed in major ocean races, such as the Fastnet Race, and recently completed a three-year circumnavigation.
