    About the Author:

    Will Seal is Professor of Accounting at the University of Southampton having previously held Chairs at the Universities of Essex, Birmingham and Loughborough. He has also previously lectured at the Universities ofNottingham, Bath, Nottingham Trent and Sheffield Hallam.

    Ray H. Garrison is emeritus Professor of Accounting at Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah.

    Eric W. Noreen is emeritus Professor of Accounting at the University of Washington and was visiting PriceWaterhouse Professor of Management Information & Control at INSEAD, France.
