When Deborah Jones, rookie reporter on the Miami Herald, discovers that William Craig, an 82-year-old Scot on Death Row was a Second World War hero jailed for killing a Senator s son who raped his granddaughter her story provokes other victims of the politician s son to come forward. Deborah herself is the final target and in the desperate final countdown to secure a stay of execution she too will have to disregard the law.
