Stephanie Baudet was brought up in New Zealand and did her nursing training there. She now lives in Buckinghamshire, works as a chiropodist and writes part-time.
Debi Gliori was born in Glasgow and is a very successful illustrator. Her picture book, MR BEAR TO THE RESCUE has been short-listed for the Greenaway Medal. Debi now lives in East Lothian.
