Angelique Richardson is Lecturer in Victorian Literature and Culture at the University of Exeter. She is the author of two forthcoming books on Darwin, Galton and 19th century eugenics, and on women and writing at the fin de sičcle.

Angelique Richardson is Lecturer in English at the University of Exeter. She has published widely on nineteenth-century fiction and is the author of Love, Eugenics and the New Woman: Science, Fiction, Feminism (Oxford University Press, 2003). She is also co-editor of The New Woman in Fiction and in Fact: Fin-de-Sičcle Feminisms (Palgrave, 2001).
