L'autore:

David Lodge is the author of ten bestselling novels and a novella. He has won the Whitbread Book of the Year (1980) and been shortlisted for the Booker Prize (1984). He has also written several works of criticism including The Art of Fiction which is a bestselling backlist Penguin title. He is Honorary Professor of English at the University of Birmingham, where he taught for many years. He lives in Birmingham.
