Essentials of Psychology, Fifth Edition, contains the essential topics of psychology, a variety of student-oriented motivational features, and a thorough built-in, self-scoring study guide with ESL coverage. The fifth edition contains major advancements over earlier editions. It has two new chapters, full integration of the sociocultural perspective, full integration of gender, Reflections sections, and increased emphasis on critical thinking. A new edition of Thinking and Writing About Psychology comes shrink-wrapped with the text at no additional cost. This slim volume promotes (1) critical thinking and (2) writing across the curriculum.
