It is a great relaxation for me. For ten days we have been entirely in the water in a relatively calm secteur. We are living in regular swamps, little or no shelter--not only no shelter for protection from shells,--for one does not count much on them, as nothing resists them,--but we have no shelter against the rain. It is truly strange to see such a thing; I cannot give you any reason.
