First, a grave and respectable looking Turk, with a formidable pair of mustachios, but no beard; a fiery suit of red clothes, with open sleeves to the outside jacket, which, when hanging at the side, give him the appearance of a man with two pair of arms, or doubly armed, as he in fact is. A broad leathern belt, which passes three or four times round his body, and over this a rich woollen one, or sometimes a cashmire.
