Julia Donaldson is today's best-loved picture book writer, famous for THE GRUFFALO (978-0-333-71093-7) illustrated by Axel Scheffler. Julia loves to write songs and plays, and her amazing children’s shows are much in demand. She also makes an excellent fish pie. David Roberts is a prize-winning illustrator whose beautiful and distinctive illustrations have won him many fans since he swapped a career in fashion for the world of children's books. David sometimes eats fishcakes for tea, but he'd much rather have a victoria sponge.
