L'autore
Julia Donaldson has owned several hats over the years, including a special straw one she used to wear while busking. She is the author of many bestselling picture books, including the modern classic, THE GRUFFALO and its sensationally successful sequel, THE GRUFFALO'S CHILD . Julia's other writing credits include plays and songs, and her drama and storytelling sessions are hugely popular.
Anna Currey often wore a hat while working on the illustrations for this book, as she sketched much of it outdoors on a windy hill in Ireland. Anna's many successful picture books include I FORGOT TO SAY I LOVE YOU by Miriam Moss and THE MACMILLAN TREASURY OF NURSERY RHYMES AND POEMS, as well as her previous collaboration with Julia Donaldson, ONE TED FALLS OUT OF BED.
