He oversaw the transfer ofMatch of the Day and its iconic presenter Des Lynam to the commercial channel, all the time overseeing ITV's highly-successful association with the UEFA Champions League.John Motson, OBE is the UK's best-known soccer commentator. Since 1979, he has been the BBC's main TV commentator for major cup finals.
