It is argued that the first two are insufficient, that sensualism makes man a mere organism and that spiritualism posits an unproven source of knowledge beyond man. Instead, the author brings the reader to Catholicism and argues that this is the only logical and consistent philosophy. The author claims that this is the only system that can truly explain the nature of man and his place in the universe. He finds the Catholic philosophical approach superior to all others.
