This study is an attempt to get at the facts underlying such widespread thot as this by making a study of the trained Negro laborer, his education, opportunity, wages and work. The first attempt at this was made in 1902 and the results appeared in no. 7 of the Atlanta University Publications. The present study seeks to go over virtually the same ground after an interval Of ten years.
