RICK GINSBERG is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policies, and codirector of the Office of Research in the College of Education at the University of South Carolina.
DAVID N. PLANK is an Associate Professor in the Department of Educational Administration at Michigan State University. Together, Ginsberg and Plank edited Southern Cities, Southern Schools (Praeger, 1990).
This volume contains a selection of essays dealing with the impact of commissions on educational policy and reform. The perspectives of practitioners directly involved with commission reports and scholars analysing the significance and impact of educational policies are compared.
