Annie Modesitt has been knitting and crocheting for over twenty years. She began as a theatrical designer and knitter, but soon became a knitwear entrepreneur. Annie knits, crochets, designs, teaches classes that continually sell out, and uses her combination method to knit jewelry, garments of all sizes and shapes, and even hats and chairs. Her designs have appeared in Cast On, Interweave Knits, Knitter’s Magazine, Ultimate Knitting, Vogue Knitting, Knitting with Simplicity, and McCall’s, as well as in numerous books.
