Heather Mills, a 25-year-old model, was run over by a police motorcyclist in 1993, and subsequently suffered the amputation of her left leg below the knee. Such were her energy and determination that she learned to walk, ski and model again. In this autobiography Mills tells of her escape from a dysfunctional family life, her struggle to build her career, and her mission to Bosnia in 1994, when she took a shipment of artificial limbs for children.
