Endorsed by Edexcel, "Information and Communication Technology for Edexcel Applied AS: Single Award" has been published to support the new specification. Written by two experienced senior examiners and heads of department, the key content of the course and the project-based assessment criteria are covered in full. Exemplar projects and case studies feature throughout as a means of ensuring that students fully understand how to plan, produce, review and submit their own portfolios in the most effective ways. The units covered include: The Information Age; The Digital Economy; The Knowledge Worker; and, Exam and Portfolio Advice (Standard Ways of Working; Evidence Checklists; and, Portfolio Advice and Assessed Elements of the Course). The book also comes with a CD containing electronic files that contain example portfolio content and presentations designed to aid students' understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of those projects/how they will be assessed by examiners.
