Es begleitete ihn eine grosse Menge des Volkes, besonders die Ältesten, Eleasar, der Hohepriester, und sein Nachfolger Josua. Auf dem Gipfel des Berges entliess er die Ältesten, un1armte noch einmal Eleamr und Josua, und dann entzog ihn plötzlich eine dichte Wolke jener Blicken und er verschwand in einem tiefen Thale.
