A droid is a mechanical being. There are many types of droids in the universe. Most of the work we do is hard and dangerous.

It is often the kind of work that humans would rather not do. You might say that we are made to suffer!

As a PROTOCOL DROID, one of my tasks is to help beings from many different worlds speak to each other.

In fact, I am familiar with over six million forms of communication!

The DUM-4 PIT DROIDS are a special type of worker droid. They can repair many types of vehicles and often work as pit crews at Podraces.

Not all droids are built for work. Some are designed for combat.

BATTLE DROIDS are very advanced. The Trade Federation has created an entire army of them.

Battle Droids are designed to fold up to a compact size for swift and easy transport. They ride into battle on giant Trade Federation MTT transports....
