These recipes were compiled by members of the St. Andrew's Church Woman's Guild in Nairobi, Kenya. It was published and printed there. It was originally entitled the "Kenya Settlers' Cookery Book" initially published in 1928. It covers every meal of the day and everything in-between. There are chapters on Cooking At High Altitudes, Foods Required For Different Ages, First and Second Toasties, Curry Dishes, Meats To Be Eaten Cold, Maize and Maize Meal Recipes, Bread and Scones, and many more; as well as Household Hints and Laundry Notes, Medicine Cupboard and Home Remedies, Camping Hints, and Swahili Section. Truly unique.
