Op dit moment wordt in Amerika het tweede seizoen van de serie A Game of Thrones uitgezonden, naar de gelijknamige boeken van George R.R. Martin. De serie is immens populair en inmiddels zijn de boeken ook niet meer aan te slepen. De graphic novel kon dus niet lang op zich laten wachten. De vertaling van boek naar graphics is vrij aardig gelukt, maar het geheel oogt soms wat propperig, wat vooral te danken is aan het formaat. Tekenaar Patterson levert toch een flinke prestatie en is de komende jaren nog wel even onder de pannen.
