About the Author Andrew Ford has been involved in the computer industry since 1980, working in the areas of systems, networks, and typesetting software for academic institutions and commercial companies in Great Britain and Germany. He is currently an independent software consultant and has spent the past year investigating Network Information Discovery Tools for The British Library, setting up servers and evaluating a wide range of Web software.
