"The exercises at the end of the chapters are very helpful by allowing the students to put into action ... the concepts and practices presented in the text. In addition, the cases present interesting extensions of the chapter topics."
"The text provides a foundation that enables students to read and understand the concepts that are discussed in journal articles and chapters of other books. ... The book's greatest strengths are its breadth of coverage and the ease with which a novice can understand the text. I do not see a weakness."
