For teen readers of Curtis Sittenfeld, Ally Carter, and James Patterson, Joe Schreiber's entertaining and over-the-top novel introduces us to Will Shea: con-artist. But Will isn't the only scammer at one of the most elite and privileged prep schools in the country - Andrea Dufresne is there, too, and Connaughton Academy isn't big enough for the both of them. So they make a deal - and the stakes are higher than high school. May the best con win! It's his senior year and Will Shea has conned his way into one of the country's most elite prep schools. But he soon runs into Andrea, a fellow con-artist. With the school not big enough for the both of them, they make a bet that whoever can con Brandt Rush, the richest, most privileged student in the school out of $50K, gets to stay at the school. Will starts setting up his con (an online poker scam) with his uncle who's one of the best grifters in the business, but also with the unwanted help of his father. The plot thickens as Will starts falling for fellow student Gatsby, and some of Will's lies start to catch up with him.

Praise for Joe Schreiber

Game Over Pete Watson

"A progressively silly, retro-geeky action story for the YOLO generation." -- Kirkus Reviews

"Rash's spot cartoons are entirely in sync with the story's goofy, metafictional humor and deliver many jokes themselves, making the novel read like a distant action-oriented cousin to the Wimpy Kid books." -- Publisher's Weekly

Lenny Cyrus School Virus

VOYA Top Shelf for Middle School Readers 2013

"Schreiber alternates among Lenny, Harlan, and Zooey's perspectives in short, taut, action-packed chapters with cliffhanger endings."— Publishers Weekly

"There is so much here to enjoy."— Kirkus

Perry's Killer Playlist

"The nonstop action, romantic intrigue, and everyteen haplessness on Perry's part remains an incendiary combination."— Publishers Weekly, starred review

"Just as the Bourne franchise gets better with each movie, so does this action/spy-thriller series. . . . A thrilling sequel that won't disappoint fans."— School Library Journal

"Hilarious, smart, the ultimate good guy, Perry is a reluctant James Bond caught up in another one of Gobi's La Femme Nikita-esque outa-control rollercoaster rides in this sequel to Au Revoir, Crazy European Chick."— Justine Magazine

Au Revoir, Crazy European Chick

"Fast paced, smart, exciting . . . it's like your favorite summer action thriller and John Hughes movie rolled into one." — Josh Schwartz, executive producer of Gossip Girl and The O.C.

(star)" Plain and simple, it’s a blast. A couple of them, actually. "— Publishers Weekly, starred review

(star)"What follows are captures, tortures, machine guns, a helicopter rescue, and a kiss that is, like this addictive first novel for teens, a "long, intoxicating dive through a sea of Red Bull." - Booklist, starred review

"Joe Schreiber's laugh-out-loud, young-adult debut . . . plays its opposites-repel premise to the hilt in a high-stakes adventure story that reads like a runaway train." – LA Times
