David Nally, age 37, was born in Provo, Utah, and has been a Southern Utah resident since January 2000. He lives adjacent to Snow Canyon State Park, and makes an effort to get out on the trails on a daily basis. He has hiked or biked on all 60 of the Red Cliffs Desert Reserve trails covered in this book. His other interests include photography, stock trading, and rock climbing. If you get lost or stranded, you may get a chance to meet him, because he is a volunteer with the Washington County Search and Rescue team.
