Joshua Levy is an academic with special interest in the politics and history of the Middle East. He was born in the Sudan to Egyptian parents and immigrated to Israel at an early age. He is fluent in both Hebrew and Arabic. For over four decades he has lived among Arabs and Jews in the Sudan, Egypt and Israel, and is well versed in their history, culture, mentality and religion.
