DAWN THORPE Dawn began her career as an interior designer and visual merchandiser, recognizing how our surroundings & visual environment motivates specific behavior. (calming, peaceful, community & purchasing). Throughout her career she has worked as an interior designer, creative director, ad copy writer, researcher, graphic designer, furniture designer and manufacturer’s broker, brand consultant with iconic companies, architects, large home builders, developers, and business owners – always designing a home, product, business or marketing campaign that is aesthetically and functionally – the best it can be within the agreed budget. By 2000, she had worked on hundreds of projects with companies such as D. R. Horton, Andersen Window, Kohler Better Homes and Gardens, Traditional Home, Country Home, Meredith Publishng, Barry Berkus, B3 Architects, Bloodgood Architects, Lou Jenn (JennAir) and many more...involved in every visual detail. Currently, Dawn focuses on her four favorite design activities - shaping how client’s market their business or product, designing spaces, coordinating books that distribute valuable business, design or branding information (continuously designing/redesigning, re-inventing solutions). She lives in Santa Barbara with her two slightly mischievous and very loveable sons, Hunter and Welch.
