Ryan Gattis (punchingonpaper.com) is a writer, artist, and creative writing professor at Chapman University. He holds an M.A. in Fiction Writing from the University of East Anglia in Norwich, England, and is the author of novels Roo Kickkick & the Big Bad Blimp and Kung Fu High School, which was acquired by The Weinstein Company. In 2012, he wrote and curated the story-driven art show “The Art of Kung Fu: Myths and Legends” and is a member of street art collective UGLAR (uglarworks.com), with whom he works on various public art projects. Raised in Colorado, he lives in Los Angeles.
