Roger Cowin (1964) was born in New Castle, Indiana. He has been working with the mentally ill for the past twenty-five years. He began writing poetry and short stories in high school before deciding to concentrate on poetry. His poetry is inspired by the wide expanses of the Mid-west and the inner landscape of its inhabitants. Balancing between the absurd and the rational, Cowin attempts to make sense of the complexities of our modern world.
