Tipsy from too many cocktails and a little high on pain medication from dental surgery, Jessi thinks she sees a brutal abduction and possible murder through the hotel restaurant window. Nick is gone to the restroom, leaving Jessi as the only eye witness. Upon Nick's return, the violent scene has completely disappeared from sight on the street below. Linda S. Gunther resides in Aptos, California. After growing up in New York City and then attending Columbia graduate school in Counseling Psychology, Linda was given the opportunity to spend a summer in London, England. Linda decided to take a giant leap and start a new life in the U.K.; married an Englishman, gave birth to her son, attended graduate school in psychotherapy and became a teacher/counselor. After six years, Linda returned to California and began a new career in Corporate Human Resources; then completed an MBA. She has held key leadership positions in some great Silicon Valley companies; traveling the world facilitating management and employee development. Also an actress, she has performed in numerous theatre productions. Linda studied with the British American Drama Academy and Yale School of Drama at Oxford University. In 2013, Linda published her first work of fiction, Ten Steps From The Hotel Inglaterra, a woman's romantic adventure in Havana, Cuba.
