William F. Johnson was born in Chicago Illinois in 1934. He studied electrical engineering at Georgia Tech and management at University of South Alabama. While in industry he was instrumental in the start up of several corporate entities, receiving recognition in 1984 by the Society of Automotive Engineers for his work in developing national standards and by Marquis "Who's Who in Finance & Industry" and "Who's Who in the West." Shortly thereafter Bill was called into full-time Christian ministry, graduated from Fuller Theological Seminary, and became a teacher, church planter, renewal leader and pastor. In industry and ministry, Bill traveled throughout the world teaching classes and workshops in Russia, Israel, North and South America, and the Far East. With his wife Rita they live in Mississippi and continue to encourage and equip churches and their leaders to become all they were created to be. "Writing has always been a part of my life," Bill explains, "Every position I have held involved writing." His current writing efforts are in the area leadership and discipleship, but would love to write some science fiction.
