It contains geographical definitions, and questions on all the maps of Mitchell's School Atlas, interspersed with such notes and suggestions as seemed appropriate to the work.

The Appendix contains a table showing the length of a degree of longitude on any parallel of latitude, and several tables of important facts in Physical Geography.
