Oded Schwartz was born and brought up in Israel, where his interest in different cuisines began. He is the author of several books including Fast and Fresh Vegetarian, Fast and Fresh Mediterranean, Preserving and the highly acclaimed In Search of Plenty, which was shortlisted for the André Simon Memorial Award and earned a special mention in the international Langhe Ceretto competition. He lives in England.
